Government Polytechnic Khagaria maintains a strict "Zero Tolerance Policy" towards any form of ragging within or outside the campus.
Ragging is a cognizable offence and is completely banned under the regulations of the AICTE and the Supreme Court of India.
In compliance with central guidelines, the institute has established a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee and an active Anti-Ragging Squad.
Ragging constitutes any act of teasing, manhandling, or causing psychological or physical discomfort to any student or fresher.
Every student and their parent/guardian must mandatory submit an Anti-Ragging Affidavit through the official portal at the time of admission.
The Anti-Ragging Squad conducts continuous regular inspections across classrooms, institutional hostels, corridors, and campus cafeteria areas.
Any student found guilty of ragging will face immediate suspension, expulsion from the institute, or a heavy financial penalty.
Severe cases of ragging will be directly reported to the local law enforcement authorities for criminal prosecution under the Bihar Anti-Ragging act.
To ensure a safe learning environment, the identity of any student reporting a ragging incident will be kept strictly confidential.
